Migrationsbeiratswahl München
Vote LISTE 21
International Migrants of Munich – a strong, united voice for the more than 480,000 Munich residents without a German passport, and for everyone who calls this city home.
Migrants for migrants – and for Munich
International Migrants of Munich (IMM) is a list of professionals, parents and community volunteers who have built their lives in Munich. We know the KVR queues, the search for a Kita place and the challenge of finding a club for our kids – because we live it every day.
We are running as Liste 21 to bring these everyday concerns directly to the city council and to work constructively with the city administration for practical, achievable improvements.
What is the Migrationsbeirat?
The Migrationsbeirat (Migration Advisory Council) is the elected body that represents the interests of Munich's migrant population. It advises the Stadtrat (city council) and the administration, can submit proposals and statements, and gives migrants an official voice in city politics.

Fast-Track KVR Appointments
Waiting weeks or months for a KVR / Ausländerbehörde appointment puts jobs, travel and family life on hold. A residence permit that can't be renewed in time creates stress for employees, employers and families alike.
- More online appointment slots and a transparent waiting list instead of “refresh and hope”
- Digital submission of documents and status tracking for residence permits
- Automatic Fiktionsbescheinigung when the delay is caused by the authority
- Service in English and other major languages at the counter and by phone
Fair Funding Distribution to Cultural Vereins
Hundreds of migrant cultural associations keep traditions alive, organise festivals and help newcomers settle in – mostly through unpaid volunteers. Yet many don't know which funding exists or find the application process too complex.
- Transparent, published criteria for how city funding is distributed
- Simpler application forms and workshops to help Vereins apply
- Affordable access to city rooms and halls for cultural events
- Fair share for new and smaller communities, not only long-established ones
Multilingual Kindergarten Places for Children
Children who grow up with several languages have a real advantage – if their home language is valued. At the same time, finding any Kita place in Munich is hard, especially for families new to the system.
- More bilingual and multilingual Kita / Kindergarten places in Munich
- Recruitment and faster recognition of qualified international educators
- Kita-Finder and registration information in several languages
- Support for German learning for children with a migration background
Cricket in Munich's Sportvereine
Cricket is one of the most popular sports in the world and thousands of Munich residents play it – but there are very few pitches and almost no youth training. Sport is one of the best ways to bring communities together.
- Cricket sections in Munich's Sportvereine and school sports programmes
- Access to suitable city sports grounds and practice nets
- Youth and women's training, so children grow up with the sport here
- Inter-cultural tournaments that connect migrants with Munich locals
Better Support & Stronger Representation
Migrants contribute to Munich every day as employees, founders, taxpayers and neighbours. Our needs should be heard before decisions are made – not afterwards.
- Regular open consultation hours where you can bring your issues to us
- Better information on housing, recognition of foreign qualifications and integration courses
- Clear action against discrimination in housing and the job market
- Transparent reporting: we will share what we achieve in the council
